Job summary

Central Queensland Indigenous Development Inc. (CQID) invites applications for a full-time, permanent entry-level role in Rockhampton.

The position focuses on finding family and kin to connect and reunify displaced children, applying culturally safe practices and CQID standards. Responsibilities include researching and engaging kin, developing reunification plans, maintaining records, and collaborating with the Strong in Family and Culture team.

Qualifications

• Holds a current C Class Queensland Driver’s Licence.
• Current Working with Children Check, “Blue Card”

Responsibilities

• Provide case facilitation to the Strong in Family & Culture (SFC) in all aspects related to family finding and reunification.
• Using processes to research, locate and engage kin and significant others.
• Develop individualized reunification plans for approval and implement them.
• Maintain family finding records (genograms) and report progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families and stakeholders.
• Contribute to policy development and CQID’s ISO 9001:2015/HSQS compliance.
