Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland is seeking a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner at the Family Relationship Centre in Maroochydore on a permanent full-time basis. The role focuses on assessment, case management and resolution for families under the Family Law Act.

You will join a high-performing team within FaDS and benefit from flexible work arrangements, NFP salary packaging, and a supportive not-for-profit environment on the Sunshine Coast.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Law or related discipline.
• Graduate Diploma Family Dispute Resolution.
• Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Federal Attorney-General’s Department.
• Previous experience working in a Family Relationship Centre would be an advantage.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Blue Card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and contribute to assessment, case management and support of families requiring Family Dispute Resolution.
• Join the Family Law Services Team at the Sunshine Coast and work on child inclusive and property disputes.
• Assist with processes under the Australian Family Law Act as part of team efforts.

Education

Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Law or related discipline

Graduate Diploma Family Dispute Resolution

Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Federal Attorney-General’s Department

Previous experience in a Family Relationship Centre

Current Drivers Licence
