Shred-X Australia, part of the Freightways Ltd group, is seeking a motivated Day Shift Factory Sorter to join our Wetherill Park recycling facility. You will sort material, operate shredding equipment, and record loads to support safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift license preferred but not essential.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Sort material for destruction on conveyor belts and tables.
• Operate shredding and baling equipment according to safety and quality standards.
• Accurately record information for inbound and outbound loads.
• Perform pre-start checks on machinery and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the facility and equipment.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving pallets, bins, and containers.
• Ensure loads are secure and meet quality requirements.
• Report any non-compliance or equipment issues to supervisors.

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Day Shift Factory Sorter to join our Wetherill Park branch to contribute to the smooth operation of our recycling facility.
