Labourforce is seeking reliable Factory Hands / Sorters for a busy paper shredding and recycling facility in Wetherill Park. This role sits on the factory floor in a dusty environment and requires attention to safety and quality.

Key duties include sorting paper and recyclables on conveyors, removing contaminants, performing pre-start checks, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and general manual handling. Day shift 6:00am–2:00pm or afternoon 2:00pm–10:00pm with potential weekend work; hourly

Qualificações

• Experience in factory, recycling or sorting is desirable.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Reliable transport to site.
• Must pass pre-employment checks including drug and alcohol testing and police clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Sort paper and recyclable materials on conveyor belts.
• Remove contaminants and non-compliant materials.
• Perform pre-start checks on machinery and equipment.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Empty bins, pallets and collection containers.
• Ensure materials are stored and returned correctly.
• General factory and manual handling duties.

Factory Sorters - Paper Shredding & Recycling
Location: Wetherill Park

Our client is a leading paper shredding and recycling company, providing secure document destruction and environmentally responsible recycling solutions. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking reliable Factory Sorters to join the team and support day-to-day operations within the recycling facility.
This role is based on a factory floor and involves working in a dusty environment. PPE will be provided. Applicants must be comfortable working under these conditions.

What’s on Offer

• Monday to Friday with potential weekend work
• Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• hourly rate $35.93 + penalties
• Ongoing work with temp-to-permanent opportunities

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting paper and recyclable materials on conveyor belts
