Job summary

Shred-X Australia is seeking a Day Shift Factory Sorter at our Wetherill Park facility. You will sort material for destruction on conveyor belts, operate shredding and baling equipment, and record inbound/outbound loads while performing routine pre-start checks.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Sort material for destruction on conveyor belts and tables.
• Operate shredding and baling equipment according to safety and quality standards.
• Accurately record information for inbound and outbound loads.
• Perform pre-start checks on machinery and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the facility and equipment.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving pallets, bins, and containers.
• Ensure loads are secure and meet quality requirements.
• Report any non-compliance or equipment issues to supervisors.
