Shred-X Australia, part of the Freightways Ltd group, is seeking Morning Shift Factory Sorters at our Banyo facility in Queensland. We offer casual employment with potential for full-time roles, joining a fast-paced, safety-focused team dedicated to secure destruction and recycling solutions.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently.

• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Sort material for destruction on conveyor belts and tables.
• Operate shredding and baling equipment according to safety and quality standards.
• Accurately record information for inbound and outbound loads.
• Perform pre-start checks on machinery and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the facility and equipment.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving pallets, bins, and containers.
• Ensure loads are secure and meet quality requirements.
• Report any non-compliance or equipment issues to supervisors.

We are seeking motivated and safety-focusedMorningShift Factory Sorters starting off as casual with the potential for full-time employment, to join our Banyo branch to contribute to the smooth operation of our recycling facility.

What You’ll Do

• Sort material for destruction on conveyor belts and tables
• Operate shredding and baling equipment according to safety and quality standards
• Accurately record information for inbound and outbound loads
