Job summary

Shred-X in Sydney is seeking a reliable MR Driver to join a national team delivering secure destruction and recycling services. This role focuses on safety, hands-on work, and delivering top-tier customer service.

You will drive a company-branded MR truck, load 100kg bins, use a PDA, complete checks, and interact with clients while upholding WHS standards. This is a full-time role with training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid MR license and clean driving history.
• Experience in physical driving roles (courier/removalist).
• Safe manual handling skills and good physical fitness.
• Reliable, punctual, customer-focused and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive MR truck to deliver/collect secure destruction bins and materials.
• Service diverse client base across industries, handling e-waste, archives, textiles, pallets.
• Safely manage bins weighing up to 100kg.
• Use a PDA to record collections and service tasks.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness.
• Represent Shred-X professionally on-site with top-tier customer interaction.
• Follow all company policies, WHS standards, chain of responsibility, and client procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Drive a company-branded MR truck to deliver and collect secure destruction bins and materials.
• Service a diverse client base across various industries, including handling e-waste, archive boxes, textiles, and pallets.
• Safely manage bins weighing up to 100kg – an ideal role for someone who enjoys physical work.
• Use a PDA device to accurately record collections and service tasks.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness.
• Represent Shred-X professionally on-site, ensuring top-tier customer interaction.
• Follow all company policies, WHS standards, chain of responsibility, and client-specific procedures.

What You Bring

• A valid Medium Rigid (MR) truck license with a clean driving history.
• Previous experience in a physical driving role (e.g. courier or removalist-style work).
• Safe manual handling skills and physical fitness.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Comfortable with using handheld devices (PDA or similar tech).
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
