Job summary

OLC Care seeks an experienced Facility Manager to lead Peakhurst Lodge, providing senior leadership across clinical governance, quality and operations to ensure safe, person-centred care for residents.

You will work with clinical and operational teams, Head Office and the executive team to drive service excellence, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement while modelling empathetic, collaborative leadership.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
• Minimum 5 years of general nursing experience.
• At least 3 years in a Facility Manager or senior aged care management role.
• Solid knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Quality Standards and AN-ACC.
• Strong HR and workforce management capabilities.
• Financial and business management skills.
• Demonstrated empathetic, collaborative leadership and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of Peakhurst Lodge and ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Partner with clinical and operational teams, Head Office and executive team.
• Drive clinical governance, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee HR, workforce planning and performance, budgeting and reporting.
• Lead quality improvement, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Foster a positive service culture and strong team leadership.
• Shape the home’s future direction and service sustainability.

About the Role

As Facility Manager, you will provide leadership for the day-to-day operation of Peakhurst Lodge and support your team to deliver safe, high-quality and person-centred care and services.

You will work closely with your clinical and operational team, with support from Head Office and executive team, to create a positive environment for older people, their supporters and staff.

About You

We are looking for an experienced aged care leader who enjoys working with people, developing teams and creating a positive service culture.

You will bring:

• current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
• five or more years of general nursing experience
• at least three years' experience in a Facility Manager or comparable senior aged care management role
• sound knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC
• strong clinical, quality and operational management capability
• effective HR and workforce management skills
• sound financial and business management skills
• demonstrated team-building and change-management skills
• excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• demonstrated ability to lead teams with empathy, professionalism and positive role modelling
• A collaborative, practical and solutions-focused leadership style, with strong risk management capability.
