The Roving Facility Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney Metro, with responsibility for overseeing and supporting multiple residential aged care homes. This role includes providing operational leadership, ensuring high standards of resident care, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and quality frameworks. Day-to-day tasks involve visiting and supporting different facilities including relieving for site management roles, guiding local management teams, coordinating staffing and rosters, and monitoring budgets and resource use. The Roving Facility Manager partners with clinical, hospitality, and support staff to improve resident experience, address issues promptly, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. The role also requires building strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, and ensuring that OLC Care's values are consistently reflected in each home.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care management, including facility or operations leadership.
• Knowledge of aged care standards, registration requirements, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Strong people leadership skills, including team coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Proficiency in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management for residential facilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with digital systems used in care management, reporting, and rostering.
• 5 years + RN experience in Australia
• Ability to travel between facilities within Metropolitan Sydney and work flexibly to meet operational needs.
