Job summary

Forum Recruitment is seeking an experienced Facilities/Project Manager to deliver facilities projects, procure contractors and maintain governance across the portfolio.

You will drive end-to-end project delivery, manage procurement and contractor performance, and oversee asset registers and FM systems, ensuring compliance and reporting to senior leadership. This role is a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in facilities management and project management from conception through delivery.
• Demonstrated experience in contract management, procurement and project lifecycle stages.
• Experience managing trades and contractors on commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to a range of audiences.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• A current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence and the right to work in Australia; an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or equivalent) will be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of facilities projects, from scoping to close-out.
• Lead procurement and contractor management, including tender planning and KPI/SLAs.
• Maintain and improve the asset register and lead lifecycle maintenance planning.
• Oversee the FM system (FM Clarity) to ensure compliant data and tracking.
• Manage relationship with vehicle fleet provider, including governance and performance.
• Provide governance reporting, budgets and risk registers to senior management.

Job description

Reporting to the senior facilities management team, this role is central to delivering facilities projects, procuring and managing contractors, and ensuring strong governance across the organisation's property portfolio. It would suit an experienced facilities or project professional who enjoys a genuine mix of project delivery, contract management and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of facilities projects, from scoping and feasibility through to procurement, delivery and close-out
• Lead procurement and contractor management, including tender planning, scopes of work, KPIs/SLAs and performance reviews
• Maintain and improve the asset register, and lead lifecycle and long-term maintenance planning
• Oversee the FM system (FM Clarity) to ensure accurate, reliable facilities data and compliance tracking
• Manage the relationship with the organisation's vehicle fleet provider, including governance, performance and issue resolution
• Provide project governance reporting, budgets and risk registers to senior management and stakeholders
