Job summary

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Project Manager to join our team in Alice Springs, Australia. You will lead planning, coordination, and execution of complex facilities projects from concept through closeout.

The role interfaces with customers, Site O&M teams, and contractors to ensure requirements are defined, prioritized, and delivered on time and within budget. A TS/SCI clearance is preferred or eligible candidates may apply.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related field with 8+ years of IC/DoD or commercial experience.
• Experience managing facilities, construction, renovation, or infrastructure projects for government or commercial sectors.
• Experience reviewing technical designs and construction documentation.
• Strong project management skills across scope, cost, schedule, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between stakeholders and government representatives.
• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of facilities projects from concept to closeout.
• Ensure requirements are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate resources, schedules, and priorities for project execution.
• Maintain project documentation and configuration control.
• Develop and deliver SOWs, cost estimates, schedules, status reports, and daily activity reports.
• Review technical docs and provide actionable feedback for compliance and best practices.
• Monitor performance against scope, budget, and schedule; manage control gates.
• Identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies.
• Foster collaboration among government customers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
