Mission Australia is seeking a Facilities Manager, Freehold, to oversee our national freehold property portfolio. You will ensure buildings are safe, compliant and fit for purpose, coordinating with internal teams, contractors and service providers to support life-changing community work.

In this role you will lead compliance programs, manage maintenance and capital projects, and develop asset lifecycle plans to safeguard assets across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a diverse property, facilities or asset portfolio across multiple sites and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management, property operations and asset lifecycle management.
• Experience managing statutory compliance programs including fire safety and building compliance.
• Experience identifying and mitigating property-related risks with accurate compliance records.

Responsabilités

• Manage statutory and regulatory compliance across the freehold portfolio.
• Coordinate fire safety, essential services, building compliance and related certifications.
• Maintain auditable compliance registers, records and documentation.
• Identify, assess and manage property-related risks ensuring assets are compliant.
• Develop and maintain asset lifecycle plans for freehold properties.
• Coordinate property condition assessments, inspections and asset data collection.
• Maintain accurate freehold property, compliance, asset and condition information in MA systems.
• Manage planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across the freehold portfolio.
• Review maintenance requests, set priorities and oversee works to completion.
• Manage property maintenance contracts in line with Mission Australia policies.
• Ensure contractors have required licences, qualifications, insurances and documentation.
• Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations and service levels.
• Address performance or safety issues in a timely manner.
• Plan and deliver capital works, refurbishment and property improvement projects.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules and risk assessments.
• Prepare and manage operating, maintenance and capital budgets.
• Communicate property issues and planned work clearly to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with contractors, regulators and external stakeholders.
