Job summary

National Archives of Australia seeks a capable Facilities Manager to join the Property and Physical Security section. The role supports the delivery of repairs, maintenance programs and asset management across the NSW office, supervising staff and ensuring cost-effective accommodation.

Applicants must be Australian citizens and able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance, with availability to attend site during emergencies outside core hours.

Qualifications

• Must be Australian citizen and able to obtain security clearance at Negative Vetting 1 level.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Director Facilities Manager Northern in delivering the NSW office.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance programs.
• Manage assets including purchasing, disposal and stocktaking.
• Supervise staff.
• Attend site during emergencies outside core business hours.
