Job summary

Wesfarmers Bullivants is seeking a Lead Facilities professional to oversee a national network of warehouses, manufacturing sites and operational facilities. You will partner with operations, property and compliance to ensure safety, efficiency and fit-for-purpose facilities.

You will drive maintenance, relocations, upgrades and capital projects while managing contractor relationships and budgeting, ensuring policy compliance and continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities, operations, engineering or property management.
• Multi-site experience within industrial, warehouse, manufacturing or logistics environments.
• Strong contractor, supplier and stakeholder management capability.

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities, buildings, plant and grounds across the national Bullivants branch network.
• Lead preventative maintenance programs, repairs, compliance inspections and contractor management.
• Oversee landlord, lease and property management relationships, ensuring all obligations are met.
• Drive branch relocations, expansions, upgrades, warehouse optimisation and capital projects.
• Manage the lifecycle of mobile equipment fleets, including servicing, replacement and disposal.
• Ensure all facilities activities meet WHS, environmental and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and manage capital expenditure budgets, forecasts and facilities-related spend.
• Negotiate and manage contractors, suppliers and service providers to deliver value and performance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across facilities, equipment and operational processes.

About the role

Lead Facilities Excellence Across a National Industrial Network taking ownership of our national facilities portfolio and playing a critical role in supporting operational performance, safety and future growth.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you'll lead the strategic and operational management of facilities across 18 branches nationally, ensuring our warehouses, manufacturing sites and operational facilities remain safe, compliant, efficient and fit for purpose. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with operations, property, compliance and external stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes.

We're looking for someone who:

• Proven experience in facilities, operations, engineering or property management.
• Multi-site experience within industrial, warehouse, manufacturing or logistics environments.
• Strong contractor, supplier and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience delivering maintenance, relocation, construction or capital projects.
• Sound knowledge of WHS, contractor compliance and risk management requirements.
• Experience using facilities management or maintenance scheduling systems.
• Strong commercial acumen, budgeting and negotiation skills.
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel nationally as required.
