Qualifications

• Ready to step up from Assistant Facilities Manager to a larger role.
• Retail property environment experience preferred, with fast-paced centre operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities operations across multiple shopping centres in Perth.
• Manage contractors and service providers to meet timelines and standards.
• Monitor budgets and deliver capital works projects from planning to completion.
• Maintain building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire, lifts) to minimise disruption.
• Coordinate with retailers and stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.
• Champion workplace safety and WHS compliance across sites.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Retail Facilities Manager to support a portfolio of shopping centre clients across Perth.

Manage a portfolio of retail assets located in Joondalup, Butler and Ellenbrook.

Oversee hard services, contractor performance and planned preventative maintenance programs to ensure assets operate efficiently and compliantly.

Who are we looking for

Experience working as a FacilitiesManager in retail, commercial ormixed useproperties, or experience as an Assistant Facilities Manager ready to take on a larger role

Ideally, experience in retail property environments, with an understanding of fast paced centres, tenantrelationshipsand day to day operational demands

Experience working in structured environments where approvals, budgets and decisions need careful handling and professionalism

Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Property, Building Services, Trades or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

The role

Manage facilities across 3shopping centresacross Perth and the opportunity to support other assets across the Country. Oversee contractors, budgets, and projects in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities operations across multiple shopping centres, ensuring sites are safe, compliant, and running efficiently
• Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring work is delivered on time and to standard
• Monitor budgets and deliver capital works projects from planning through to completion
• Maintain and troubleshoot building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire, lifts) to minimise disruption
• Work with retailers and stakeholders to resolve issues quickly, balancing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Champion workplace safety by ensuring compliance with WHS regulations, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture across sites
