Job summary

NSW Health Pathology is seeking a motivated Facilities & Logistics Officer to join the Facilities Management Unit (FMU) at the Lidcombe campus. You will coordinate logistics, stores and facilities support, reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, and contribute to efficient facility operations across the site.

The role requires strong administrative skills, leadership and stakeholder engagement to ensure compliant, customer-focused service delivery while supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience handling administrative tasks with independent judgment and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to lead and mentor a diverse team, set priorities and coordinate tasks.
• Strong people management and staff development capabilities.
• High level interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to quality customer service and process improvement.
• Proficient in MS Office and electronic systems such as Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics, stores and facilities support functions for FMU.
• Provide high-level administrative support and contribute to workflow management and reporting.
• Support stock and non-stock goods, laboratory gas management and courier/fleet operations.
• Develop stakeholder relationships to ensure compliant, client-focused service delivery.
• Assist with projects, continuous improvement initiatives and risk management.
