Job summary

Central Highlands Rural Health in Victoria is seeking a reliable Maintenance Officer to join our hands-on maintenance team. Based at our Trentham facility, you will help maintain buildings, equipment, vehicles and grounds to a high standard across multiple CHRH sites.

This role suits someone with handyman skills or a trade background who values variety and safe, well-presented facilities for staff, residents and visitors. A current Victorian driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated handyman, maintenance or trade-related experience.
• A relevant trade qualification (desirable) or strong practical maintenance skills.
• Experience in gardening, grounds maintenance and facility upkeep.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• A current Victorian Driver Licence.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
