Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) invites applications for a Maintenance Officer based at our Trentham facility, VIC. This hands-on role suits someone with strong handyman skills or a trade background who takes pride in maintaining high-quality facilities and grounds.

Responsibilities include looking after buildings, equipment, vehicles and outdoor spaces, ensuring safety and presentation for staff, residents, patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in gardening, grounds maintenance and facility upkeep.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

• A current Victorian Driver Licence.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.

Central Highlands Rural Health – Trentham VIC

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Officer to join our team. Based at our Trentham facility but you will be required to attend our other sites this hands‑on role is ideal for someone with strong handyman skills or a trade background who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in maintaining high‑quality facilities and grounds.

As a Maintenance Officer, you will play an important role in ensuring our buildings, equipment, vehicles and outdoor areas are well maintained, safe and presented to a high standard for staff, residents, patients and visitors.

Details of Appointment: 80 hours per fortnight including an ADO each month

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated handyman, maintenance or trade-related experience
• Experience in gardening, grounds maintenance and facility upkeep
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• A current Victorian Driver Licence

Salary: As per award and subject to experience and any trade qualifications
