St Vincent’s Health Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer (Maintenance/Grounds) to join our Carseldine facility. You will perform general handyperson tasks and provide grounds maintenance, contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for residents across aged care, independent living and community services.

Working in a small, collaborative team, you will carry out routine and responsive repairs, assist residents with maintenance needs, and support on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Experience and ability to carry out maintenance repairs and providing grounds support
• Trade qualifications in carpentry, plumbing or similar, desirable
• Hold a current valid Driver’s Licence and ability to drive a truck (essential)
• Experience working in a varied work environment
• Planning and time management skills
• Willing to apply for a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (essential)
• Willing to apply for a NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential)
