Job summary

Central Highlands Rural Health is seeking a reliable Maintenance Officer based at our Trentham facility with duties across multiple CHRH campuses in the Central Highlands of Victoria. This hands-on role uses strong handyman skills to maintain buildings, equipment, vehicles and grounds to high standards for staff, residents, patients and visitors.

• A current Victorian Driver Licence.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.

Job description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Officer to join our team. Based at our Trentham facility but you will be required to attend our other sites this hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong handyman skills or a trade background who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in maintaining high-quality facilities and grounds.

As a Maintenance Officer, you will play an important role in ensuring our buildings, equipment, vehicles and outdoor areas are well maintained, safe and presented to a high standard for staff, residents, patients and visitors.

Details of Appointment: 80 hours per fortnight including an ADO each month

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated handyman, maintenance or trade-related experience
• Experience in gardening, grounds maintenance and facility upkeep
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary: As per award and subject to experience and any trade qualifications
