Job summary

Jemena is seeking a skilled Engineer – Facilities to help shape the safety, reliability and long‑term performance of critical gas infrastructure. You will work across asset management, engineering, projects and operations, providing pragmatic technical advice and collaboration with field teams.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, strong problem solving, and clear communication of complex technical matters to multidisciplinary stakeholders within the Australian energy sector.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
• CPEng, RPEQ or equivalent registration; Chartered status preferred.
• Experience in safety‑critical energy/utilities environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice across asset lifecycle from design to operations.
• Develop engineering assessments and briefs for complex problems.
• Contribute to FEED and capital projects.
• Support asset performance reviews and risk identification.
• Support asset management system improvements and compliance.
• Review asset strategies to align with Australian/international standards.
• Provide input into work scopes, business cases and capital plans.
• Support delivery, commissioning and handover of major projects.
