Neat Metal in Melbourne seeks a highly skilled qualified fabricator to join our architectural metalworks team. You will interpret drawings and weld aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel for premium balustrades, doors, furniture and related products.

The ideal candidate is fully qualified with relevant certifications, able to work independently or in a team, maintain strict quality standards, and assist with on-site installation and site safety.

Qualifications

• Must be an Australian citizen.
• Fully qualified welder with relevant certifications.
• Proven experience welding aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting technical drawings.
• Welding ferrous and non-ferrous metals (Mig and Tig).
• Cutting and shaping metal.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated qualified fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in welding various materials and contribute to the successful execution of high-quality projects that align with our company values.

As a qualified fabricator you will be completing the following duties:

• interpreting technical drawings
• Welding ferrous and non-ferrous metals (Mig and Tig)
• Cutting and shaping metal
• Bending and forming
• Assembly and Installation
• Working in a methodical and organised manner
• Maintenance of equipment
• Collaboration - working closely with our other fabricators and drafty's as well as external contractors, engineers, architects and other tradesperson.
• Onsite installation (periodically)
• Documentation and reporting
• Safety practices
