Job summary

EVT Group's Rydges Australia Square in Sydney is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations across restaurant, bar, room service and events, ensuring guests receive consistently excellent service and the team runs safely and profitably.

You will supervise rostered shifts, coach casual and permanent staff, and step onto the floor during peak service to maintain high standards and a great guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

The F&B Supervisor leads the day-to-day operation of the hotel's food and beverage outlets including restaurant, bar, room service and/or events — ensuring guests receive consistently excellent service while the team operates efficiently, safely, and profitably. This is a hands-on leadership role: supervising rostered shifts, coaching casual and permanent staff, and stepping in on the floor during service.

• Previous experience in a F&B supervisor role or similar working in hotels, bars or restaurants.
• Experience managing and training teams, driver a strong team culture and driving a great guest experience.
• Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
• Warm, friendly and approachable manor.
• Great communication skills, flexibility and approachable.
• Be able to anticipate the guests need and be adaptable.
• Promote the venue and brand, maintain strong product knowledge, assist with training, supervision, and role allocation as required.
