Job summary

Accor's Heartist property in Western Australia is seeking a hospitality professional to deliver friendly and efficient food and beverage service to guests. You will greet VIPs, manage beverage knowledge, and help maintain hygiene and safety standards across outlets.

The role supports hotel operations and guest experience within a dynamic, fast-paced setting. RSA certification is required, and you will assist with rosters and training while ensuring accurate billing and promotion support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a food and beverage outlet.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
• Strong knowledge of a variety of beverages including beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food & beverage service is provided to all guests.
• Familiarise yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.
• Set up systems to protect and maintain control of food service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes.
• Set up and maintain a weekly cleaning schedule for the food service areas to achieve the highest possible hygiene and cleaning standards.
• Ensure team members are competent in menu, dietary and allergens knowledge. Ensure team members have some understanding of beverages and wine list and are competent to make suggestions as required. Ensure staff are aware of current promotions and are able to maximise sales to guests.
• Ensure guest billing is completed accurately following hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.
• Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
• Maintain currency of Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.
• Maintain clean and neat presentation of bar and restaurant area(s), following set opening, closing and daily procedures.
• Oversee the setup and reset of specific Conference & Function activities as required.
• Assist with preparation of rosters, ensuring that suitable and cost-effective employee levels are maintained at all times. Rosters to be authorised by department head
