Job summary

Rick's Garage Bar & Diner in Palmwoods is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to own the numbers and lead the front-of-house and bar teams across the diner and its three bars. You will set service standards, train staff, and ensure every cocktail and table is looked after.

Develop drinks lists, promotions and events, manage ordering, stock, and supplier relations, and work with the kitchen on menus and function packages to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as Bar/F&B/Venue Manager in a high-volume venue.
• Understand GP, COGS and labour percentages and how they move margins.
• Available weekends, evenings and public holidays; RSA certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH and bar teams across four areas.
• Set service standards from entry to departure.
• Ensure cocktails and tables meet specs and standards.
• Train and develop floor staff and bartenders.
• Manage beverage ordering, stock and supplier relationships.
• Run monthly stocktakes and variances.
• Drive FOH and bar revenue and BEV GP.
• Build rosters to budget and labour targets.
• Coordinate bookings and events night of functions.
• Enhance guest reviews and handle complaints during shifts.
• Develop drinks lists, promotions and events.
• Collaborate with kitchen on menus and event packages.
• Ensure events run smoothly from setup to last drinks.
