Job summary

Rick's Garage in Palmwoods is seeking a Head Bartender to own the drinks across three bars—the Retro Bar, Whiskey Bar and Garden Bar. You will craft and manage the cocktail and non-alc lists and lead the team across busy trade, events, and live music nights.

We offer full-time hours, Wednesday to Sunday, with two consecutive days off each week and Level 4 under the Restaurant Industry Award. Real ownership of the drinks program and a direct line to leadership await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Bartender, senior bartender or bar supervisor.
• Solid classic cocktail knowledge and a palate you trust.
• Confidence leading and training a team.
• Experience with stock control and ordering.
• Current QLD RSA.

• Run stocktake, ordering and inventory across the bars.

Rick's Garage is a 300 seat American diner in Palmwoods with three bars: the Retro Bar, the Whiskey Bar and the Garden Bar. Live music, functions, car clubs, and a diner menu that doesn't take itself too seriously.

We're looking for a Head Bartender to own the drinks across all three.

Not to run someone else's list. To build your own.
