Job summary

Palm Lake Group's Cardón at Pelican Waters Golf Club on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to oversee Restaurant and Bar operations and run private functions. You will lead a team, manage budgets, and ensure service standards across casual and event settings.

You’ll work seven days with a rotating roster, ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing, and WHS, and partner with the Head Chef to keep floor and kitchen moving in harmony.

Qualifications

• Proven hospitality management experience, ideally 3 to 5 years.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Budgets, stock oversight, rostering and cost management experience.
• Knowledge of food safety, liquor licensing and WHS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily service across Restaurant and Bar and oversee events.
• Run private functions end to end from enquiry to delivery.
• Recruit, onboard and mentor a front-of-house team.
• Manage rosters, labour budgets and staffing to hit targets.
• Monitor inventory, ordering and margins to reduce waste.
• Coordinate event budgets, invoicing and reporting.
• Work with Head Chef to keep floor and kitchen moving as one.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, liquor licensing and WHS.
