Job summary

Hyde Melbourne Place in Melbourne's CBD is seeking a Food & Beverage Duty Manager for Cleo. You will oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, lead service periods and support the team to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work a rotating roster, support events, and ensure OH&S and food safety standards are always met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisor or Duty Manager role.
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to service.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Victorian RSA & Food Safety Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day restaurant and bar operations during shifts.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and handle guest feedback professionally.
• Supervise, train and motivate front-of-house team members.
• Maintain service, presentation and brand standards at all times.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S, food safety and responsible service of alcohol requirements.
• Support stock control, cash handling and daily reporting.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and hotel teams.
• Support with hotel conference and events as required.
