Job summary

The Cottesloe Beach Hotel is seeking a full-time, experienced Duty Manager to join our high-volume coastal operation. You will lead daily food and beverage services, mentor staff and uphold our standards of hospitality, creativity and teamwork.

This role offers growth within a long-established Western Australian family-owned group, a competitive package and opportunities to develop leadership, service excellence and staff training across venues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager
• Excellent understanding of cellar operations
• Strong knowledge of wine, draught beer and spirits
• WA un-restricted approved managers certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and WHS knowledge
• H&L knowledge is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily Food and Beverage operations of the hotel
• Coordinating the activity of the Food and Beverage staff
• Development and training of staff
• Maintaining high standards of service
• Opening and/or closing of the venue
• Maintaining venue presentation and cleanliness
• Processing & reconciling POS & EFT terminals and complete with end of day financial reporting
• Attending management briefings and meetings
• Monthly stocktaking and stock control procedures
