Job summary

Accor’s ibis Mackay location is seeking Food & Beverage Attendants to join TurBARlence Tavern, in-room dining and conferencing teams. You will serve food and beverage to guests, uphold brand standards, and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure top quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• Service focused personality is essential
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Barista skills/experience
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work as part of a team
• RSA certification (able to obtain)
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays
• Must have current work rights in Australia

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverage to all guests
• Ensure guest satisfaction and brand standards
• Enter and close dockets into POS system
• Liaise with kitchen to maintain high food quality and presentation
• Maintain hygienic food service techniques at all times
• Keep bar and restaurant areas clean and neat per procedures
• Assist with stock control and room setups
