Job summary

The Accor ibis Mackay team invites you to join our Food & Beverage Attendants across TurBARlence Tavern, in room dining and conferencing. You will serve guests, maintain brand standards and help create relaxed, memorable experiences for travellers in tropical North Queensland.

We seek a service-focused person with previous hospitality experience, barista skills, and strong teamwork. RSA certification is required (or able to obtain).

Qualifications

• Service focused personality is essential and a passion for everything food and beverage.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Barista skills/experience.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Hold current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (able to obtain).
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Must have current work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverage to all guests
• Ensure guest satisfaction and brand standards are maintained
• Ensuring dockets are entered correctly and closed off into POS system
• Liaise with kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal
• Maintain hygienic food service techniques at all times
• Maintain clean and neat presentation of bar and restaurant area(s), following set opening, closing and daily procedures
• Assisting with stock control and room set ups
