Novotel Sydney Darling Square is seeking an Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage to lead the day-to-day F&B operations across the hotel, conferencing and our Pumphouse venue, and to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Working alongside the Director of Culinary you will coach and develop the team, manage guest feedback, control costs, ensure brand standards, food safety, liquor licensing and OH&S, and collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless service across rotating rosters including

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within hotel Food & Beverage operations.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, liquor licensing and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Flexible to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of all Food & Beverage operations through the hotel and Pumphouse.
• Assist with rostering, stock control, ordering, inventory management and minimising wastage.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to build capability and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Ensure brand standards, service procedures and presentation standards are consistently achieved.
• Maintain high food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
