Interchange Australia Limited is seeking a Casual Support Worker to assist clients in the Yass and surrounding area. You will provide in-home support including personal care, meal prep, domestic tasks, and social activities to help clients live independently.

• Certificate III in Individual Support or working towards
• Unrestricted working rights
• NSW Working With Children Check
• NSW driver’s licence – minimum P2 (green)

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their own homes
• Assist with domestic tasks and meal preparation
• Provide social support to maintain independence and quality of life
• Assist with transportation to appointments and activities
• Support clients to live independently in the Yass area

About the role

Our team of support workers provide help and care to people with disabilities and older adults in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. The work can vary from client to client, and includes personal care, domestic assistance, social support, meal preparation, and transport. It’s rewarding work –an opportunity to make a real difference for someone else.

About you

An experienced aged care and/or disability support worker, you are genuinely passionate about helping people, reliable and diligent, and willing to travel within the Yass and surroundings area to clients' homes.

You also have:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (aged care and/or disability) or working towards
• Unrestricted working rights
• NSW Working With Children Check
• NSW drivers’ licence – minimum P2 (green)
