Job summary

Living Gems Developments Pty Ltd – Bundall QLD is looking for an experienced, reliable, hands-on Plant Operator/Labourer to join our Special Projects team. You will work autonomously, keep sites organised, coordinate deliveries and support a high-end residential build program.

This casual role could lead to a permanent position. We require Australian citizenship or work rights; sponsorship or working holiday visa holders are not considered at this time.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Manual Drivers Licence is required.
• Construction White Card is mandatory.
• Skid Steer Ticket is required.
• Telehandler ticket/licence is required.
• Forklift Licence is required.
• Willing to undertake a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical support to the construction team on site.
• Operate plant and coordinate deliveries and freight.
• Keep sites and materials organised and tidy.
• Run errands to support project movement and timelines.
• Work with the Site Manager and adapt to a varied workload.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, hands‑on Plant Operator/Labourer to join our Special Projects construction team and provide practical support across high-end residential properties.

This is a varied role that goes well beyond general labouring and plant operating. Working closely with the Site Manager, you’ll be trusted to work autonomously, keep sites and materials organised, coordinate deliveries and freight, run errands and provide practical support to the construction team to keep projects moving.

About You:

• Is trustworthy, reliable and takes pride in their work


• Works well independently and can be relied upon to get the job done


• Has a hands‑on approach and is happy to get stuck in


• Can manage a varied workload and use initiative without needing constant direction


• Understands the importance of working respectfully and professionally in high‑end private homes


• Takes care of company equipment, materials, vehicles and client properties


• Is comfortable undertaking both physical labouring and logistical tasks


• Has good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Essential Requirements:

To be successful, you will need to hold the following
