Job summary

Living Gems Developments Pty Ltd in Parkhurst/QLD is seeking an experienced Plant Operator/Labourer to join our residential construction team. The role covers telehandler operation, labouring tasks, and site duties, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

You will operate telehandlers and other equipment such as excavators and skid steer, perform pre-start checks, and help keep the site tidy. This casual role may lead to permanent work for the right candidate, with Australia-wide work rights

Qualifications

• Telehandler licence required and essential.
• Excavator and skid steer licences preferred.
• Experience in construction labouring and site safety.

Are you an experienced Plant Operator/Labourer looking for a rewarding opportunity? Living Gems Developments Parkhurst Residential Construction Team are seeking a Plant Operator/Labourer to join the team.

We are looking for a telehandler operator, with a skid steer and excavator licence skilled in digging, moving and compacting earth, plus being able to muck in with the labouring, we are all a team here!

If you have any or all of these tickets and experience you will be ideal for this role! It is varied and as mentioned will include labouring work. Experience within construction, be proactive about tidying the site and asking for work once finished a task and also will be very health and safety aware.

Responsibilities and Requirements are one or all of the below as a Plant Operator/Labourer:

• All pre-starts on machinery
• Telehandler Licence (essential)
• Excavator Licence
• Skid Steer Licence
• Taking direction and proactive in understanding what is required for the role.
• Ensuring that the site is always clean and tidy
• Construction Industry Card (White Card)
• Previous experience as a construction labourer
• A real understanding and diligent about Site Safety
