Job summary

QA Build is seeking a Skilled Labourer to join our team on a brand-new GemLife community in New Gisborne. This casual role offers genuine opportunities for permanent employment for the right candidate.

You'll operate excavators and skid steers, support trades and supervisors, and help establish and maintain the site on a major residential development of ~250 homes with long-term security and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Construction Industry White Card required.
• Current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to get stuck in.

Responsibilities

• Operating excavators and skid steers.
• Assisting trades and site supervisors.
• Site establishment, preparation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Loading, unloading, and movement of materials.
• General housekeeping and site clean-up.
• Maintaining safe work practices and complying with site safety requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Construction Industry White Card
• Excavator and Skid Steer tickets (additional operating tickets highly regarded)
• Current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport
