Job summary

Stripes Civil is seeking an experienced Pipelayer to join our civil construction team on diverse infrastructure projects. You will install stormwater, sewer, and water reticulation pipelines while upholding high safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading plans, setting grades, and working with excavation crews. A White Card and a valid driver license are essential, with opportunities for overtime and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pipelayer in civil construction.
• Ability to read plans and understand levels/grades.
• Extensive knowledge of trenching and excavation safety.
• White Card (Construction Induction).
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect stormwater, sewer, and water mains as per plans.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Set out and maintain pipe grades and levels.
• Install pits, manholes, culverts, and drainage structures.
• Collaborate with excavator operators and civil crews.
• Perform quality checks to meet project requirements.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
