Job summary

Stripes Civil is seeking an experienced Pipelayer to join our civil construction team on diverse infrastructure projects. You will install stormwater, sewer, and water reticulation pipelines while upholding high safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading plans, setting grades, and working with excavation crews. A White Card and a valid driver license are essential, with opportunities for overtime and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pipelayer in civil construction.

• White Card (Construction Induction).

Job description

Stripes Civil are seeking an experienced and motivated Pipelayer to join our growing civil construction team. Working across a variety of infrastructure and subdivision projects, you will be responsible for the installation of stormwater, sewer, water reticulation pipelines while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Install and connect pipework including stormwater, sewer, and water mains.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Set out and maintain pipe grades and levels.
• Install pits, manholes, culverts, and associated drainage structures.
• Work alongside excavator operators and civil construction crews.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment.

About you

• Previous experience as a Pipelayer within the civil construction industry.
• Ability to read plans and understand levels and grades.
• Strong understanding of trenching and excavation safety requirements.
• White Card (Construction Induction).
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Pipe laser experience (Highly regarded)
• Confined Space Entry Ticket (highly regarded).
• Excavator, Roller, Loader or other plant operator tickets (highly regarded).
