Job summary

McMahon Services is hiring a Civil Pipelayer to join a major civil utilities project in Adelaide. You will be hands-on with pipe installation, trenching and service construction, contributing to water, sewer and stormwater works on site.

You will work closely with crews, supervisors and engineers to ensure safe, accurate delivery that meets project specifications and safety standards. A valid White Card and Driver's Licence are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in civil utilities pipelaying and underground service installation.
• Experience installing water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and levels.

Responsibilities

• Install water, sewer, stormwater and associated underground utility infrastructure.
• Perform pipelaying, trenching and associated civil construction activities.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and levels.
• Assist with setting out, pipe alignment and grade control activities.
• Use laser levels and survey information to achieve accurate installation outcomes.
• Work safely around underground services and within trench excavation environments.
• Assist with pipe laying, jointing, bedding and installation activities in accordance with project specifications.
• Maintain strong safety, environmental and quality standards across all site activities.
