Job summary

Top Deck Group Pty Ltd, a Sydney-based construction company specialising in commercial formwork and structural construction, invites applications for a Formwork Carpenter role on major projects across Sydney.

This full-time, permanent position requires experience in formwork, concrete structures and site operations. You will read drawings, measure and install timber formwork, and work safely on height with WHS standards. Competitive remuneration is offered with a safe, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated carpentry skills and ability to read drawings.
• Ability to work safely at heights and follow WHS rules.
• Experience reading formwork plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install timber and formwork materials.
• Construct, install and dismantle formwork systems for concrete structures.
• Carry out carpentry and formwork works in accordance with project requirements and safety standards.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and construction equipment safely.
• Work with site supervisors and other trades to complete projects within required timeframes.
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment in accordance with WHS requirements.
