Job summary

D&M Plant Hire is seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join our team for ongoing work across South East Queensland. You will work on a range of civil and construction projects, both independently and as part of a crew.

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years' civil/construction experience, hold the appropriate tickets/licences, and be reliable with your own transport. We provide a supportive, safety‑focused environment with ongoing training and supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in the civil/construction industry.
• Hold the appropriate tickets/licences.
• Have your own reliable transport.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Able to communicate professionally with supervisors, clients and other workers onsite.

Responsibilities

• Drainage and trenching
• Cutting and trimming batters
• Road boxing and preparation
• General loading and bulk earthworks
• Detailed excavation and final trim work
• Working safely around other plant and personnel
• Reading plans and understanding site requirements
