LBP Plumbing and Drainage Pty Ltd is seeking an Experienced Excavator Operator for a Bargara, Queensland project. You will work with the commercial plumbing and hydraulic team to carry out excavation and trenching for underground services.

Key duties include operating excavators, trenching, reading site plans, backfilling and ensuring safety at all times. You must have a Construction White Card and a current driver’s license and be able to reach the Bargara site reliably.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated excavator operating experience.
• Construction White Card.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Experience excavating around underground services.
• Understanding of trenching and excavation safety requirements.
• Ability to read plans and work to levels.

Responsabilités

• Operate excavators and associated plant on site.
• Trench for underground plumbing and hydraulic services.
• Read and interpret site plans and elevations.
• Backfill and prepare the site after works.
• Perform daily plant pre-start inspections.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work area on site.
• Coordinate with plumbers, supervisors and other trades.

You will be working alongside our commercial plumbing and hydraulic team carrying out excavation and trenching associated with underground services.

Key responsibilities

• Operating excavators and associated plant
• Trenching for underground plumbing and hydraulic services
• Working to required depths, levels and grades
• Reading and interpreting site plans
• Backfilling and site preparation
• Daily plant pre-start inspections
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
• Working closely with plumbers, supervisors and other trades on site

About you

• Demonstrated excavator operating experience
• Construction White Card
• Current driver's licence
• Experience excavating around underground services
• Understanding of trenching and excavation safety requirements
• Ability to read plans and work to levels
• Reliable transport to and from the Bargara project
• A strong commitment to workplace safety

LBP Plumbing & Drainage Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team for a new commercial project located in Bargara, Queensland. All excavators and machinery required for the works will be supplied by LBP.

• $45 per hour + penalties + super
