Job summary

Civelite in Geelong is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our civil construction team. You will carry out bulk, general and detailed excavation work with emphasis on drainage, storm water services and subgrade treatments while prioritising safety and quality.

The role requires a minimum of two years in civil construction, the ability to work autonomously, and a current driver’s licence plus a construction induction card.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in civil construction.
• Capable of trenching, drainage and storm water services.
• Proficient in final trim and bulk earthworks.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workloads.
• Conduct daily pre-start and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Effective communication to relay information to management.
• Commitment to quality and safety.

About the role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Operator to join the team. The requirements for the role are as below.

Minimum of two years experience in the civil construction industry

Capabilities with trenching, drainage and storm water services

Final trim experience

Experience with Bulk and minor earthworks

Possess the ability to work autonomously and manage workloads

Display care for the equipment you use including completing daily pre-start and maintenance checks

The ability to take direction and relay significant information to management

A focus towards quality and safety

Hold a current driver’s licence

Hold a current construction induction card
