Job summary

Easy iCare is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality support to a participant in their home and community in Victoria. You will assist with personal care, community access, and support for behaviours of concern, following Positive Behaviour Support Plans to promote independence, safety and dignity while maintaining a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Working with Children Check is required.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are required.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module is required.
• Driver Licence is required.
• Medication Management Training is required.
• Infection Prevention and Control Training is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support tailored to the participant's needs and goals.
• Assist with personal care including showering, dressing, grooming.
• Support community access, appointments, shopping, social and recreational activities.
• Support individuals who may display behaviours of concern and respond calmly.
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support Plans and strategies.
• Assist with household tasks and daily routines as required.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
• Encourage independence and informed choices.
• Complete accurate shift notes and incident reports.
• Work collaboratively with participant, family, support team, and other professionals.

• Complete accurate shift notes and incident reports as required.
• Work collaboratively with the participant, family, support team, and other professionals.
