Job summary

The Services Club Maryborough is seeking an experienced Chef to join our busy bistro and café teams in regional Queensland. You’ll help deliver high‑quality meals in a well‑equipped kitchen and collaborate with our Head Chef to uphold exacting standards.

Key duties include working across the bistro and café, grill and pan stations, and catering for functions and events. Flexibility to work nights, weekends and public holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef in a busy bistro, pub, restaurant, or similar venue.
• Strong experience working on grill and pan stations.
• Experience catering for functions and events.

About you

Previous experience as a Chef in a busy bistro, pub, restaurant, or similar venue.

Strong experience working on grill and pan stations.

Experience catering for functions and events.

Ability to work independently and make decisions without supervision.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Reliable, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
