Job summary

Bedrock Mining Equipment in Mackay, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator for a full-time position. You will be constructing and assembling mining equipment, reading technical drawings, and maintaining high workmanship standards.

The role requires formal boilermaking qualifications and extensive welding experience (MIG/TIG). You will join a team focused on safety, quality, and timely delivery for local and interstate clients.

Experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator | Full-Time

Bedrock Mining Equipment is seeking experienced Boilermakers - Fabricators to join our team in Mackay, Queensland. This full-time role will see you playing a crucial part in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality mining equipment to support our local and interstate clients.

What you'll be doing

Performing skilled boilermaking and fabrication tasks to build and assemble mining equipment and components

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications and work orders to carry out your work accurately and efficiently

Maintaining high-quality workmanship standards

Collaborating with the manufacturing team to meet production targets and deadlines

Adhering to strict quality control measures and workplace safety standards at all times

What we’re looking for

Formal boilermaking or fabrication qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade

Extensive experience as a boilermaker or fabricator, ideally in the mining and resources sector

High-level welding skills and the ability to weld in multiple positions using a range of welding techniques

Demonstrated proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques is essential for this role

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistently high-quality work

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

A keen focus on workplace safety and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
