Job summary

Marble Group is seeking a trade-qualified Boilermaker for a hands-on role across mining equipment and infrastructure. Work on underground machinery, welding and fabricating to drawings with an even-time 2:2 roster and a Thursday shift pattern.

The position offers full camp facilities, own room, and opportunities for long-term development, with FIFO from multiple Queensland hubs and DIDO options if local.

Qualifications

• Boilermaker trade certificate is required.
• Ability to read drawings and plans accurately.
• Physically capable of 12-hour shifts across a full swing.

Responsibilities

• Weld wear plates onto buckets and bodywork across underground machinery.
• Fabricate, install and repair to site specifications.
• Change tub components and upgrade to OEM/site requirements.
• Add equipment such as fire extinguishers mounts, handrails and site-fit outs.
• Work from drawings and read plans accurately.

Job description

Secure a consistent hands-on boiler making role across a variety of mining equipment and infrastructure. If you're trade qualified, can work to drawings and want an even-time roster with a genuine path to a long-term role then this one is worth a call.

The Role & Duties

Be part of the maintenance trades team working across fabrication, welding and repairs on underground equipment and site infrastructure. You will report into the maintenance superervisors.

• Welding wear plates onto buckets and bodywork across underground machinery
• Fabrication, installation and repairs to site specifications
• Tub changes and component upgrades to OEM and site requirements
• Machinery additions - fire extinguisher mounts, handrails and site-specific fit outs
• Working to drawings and reading plans accurately

Stay at a good and clean camp that sits right next to site.

• 2:2 roster with charter FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns

Your Value

Boilermaker trade cert is the must-have - mining experience is a bonus, but we'll back the right person with the right attitude.

• You must be a trade qualified Boilermaker
• Solid welding and fabrication skills
• Ability to work to drawings and read plans accurately
• Mining, civil or heavy industry background well regarded
• Physically fit and able to handle 12-hour shifts across a full swing
• Safety-first mindset and the discipline to follow site procedures
• Current manual driver's licence, pre-employment medical and national police check
