Job summary

Bakers Delight Dickson is seeking an experienced and motivated Baker to join our team. You will produce a range of artisan breads and bakery products while upholding our high standards of quality, food safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of relevant full-time experience as a Baker.
• Relevant baking qualification, such as Certificate III in Baking or equivalent, is highly regarded.
• Previous experience working in a commercial bakery environment.
• Strong knowledge of bread production techniques and bakery processes.
• Ability to work early morning shifts and meet production schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bake a variety of breads and bakery products.
• Measure and prepare ingredients in production recipes and specifications.
• Monitor dough quality throughout the production process to ensure consistency and product quality.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all products meet Bakers Delight quality standards and production specifications.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in minimising product waste.
• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet daily production targets and requirements.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment, utensils and work areas.
