B.A Roads is seeking motivated and reliable Asphalt Crew Members to join our hands-on, fast-paced team across Victoria. You’ll be part of a crew that values safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship in road maintenance and resurfacing projects.

Whether you have prior asphalt experience or are looking to develop skills, bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic. A current driver’s licence and White Card are required, with potential for growth within our expanding operations.

Qualifications

• Previous asphalt/road construction or civil labouring experience preferred but not essential.
• Current Australian driver's licence and White Card (Construction Induction)
• Experience operating asphalt-related plant and equipment is essential

Responsibilities

• Assist with laying, raking, shovelling and compacting asphalt
• Assist paver and roller operators as required
• Operate hand tools and small plant safely
• Prepare work areas and assist with site set-up and clean-up
• Follow project specifications and safe work procedures
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite
• Take care of company plant, equipment and materials
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and other crew members
• Maintain a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
• Comply with B.A Roads policies and safety requirements

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Previous asphalt, road construction or civil labouring experience is preferred but not essential

• Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under direction
• Physically capable of undertaking manual and outdoor work
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• HR or HC licence is highly regarded
• Experience operating asphalt-related plant and equipment is essential
• Willingness to learn and develop within the asphalt industry
