Job summary

UTS Library seeks an experienced Team Leader, Experience and Engagement to supervise a specialist User Experience team and drive engagements, promotions, events and experience-improvement initiatives across the Library.

You will work across physical and digital environments, drawing on client feedback and insights to continuously enhance the Library experience and keep the client at the centre of decision-making as we strengthen awareness, participation and connection.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in project management and delivering under pressure.
• Specialist knowledge of university library stakeholders and client experience.
• Extensive experience building an effective team environment and managing productivity.
• Experience delivering engagement initiatives that promote inter-related services.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a specialist team responsible for client engagement, communications, promotions, events and initiatives across the Library.
• Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture that supports innovation and continuous improvement.
• Deliver an integrated program of engagement activities, campaigns, events and creative initiatives that increase awareness of and participation in Library services, spaces and resources.
• Champion client-centred practice by ensuring client feedback, research and insights inform decision-making, service design and experience improvements.
• Oversee the continuous improvement of the Library experience across physical and digital environments, ensuring experiences are accessible, consistent and aligned with client needs.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the University and external partners to enhance engagement opportunities and support Library priorities.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on engagement activities, team performance and service outcomes to support evidence-based planning and continuous improvement.
